See man who has lived with tumour larger than his head for 35 years (photos/video)

A 37-year-old man in Surin, Thailand, has lived with a painful growth on his head for 35 years. The growth, now twice as large as his skull, started when he was only two years old.

Fortunately, Sutat Meesati is now due to undergo treatment and surgery to remove the growth courtesy of good samaritans who include a prominent Thai actor, Bin Bunluerit.

Sutat has been unable to get medical help because he is poor and cannot afford the expensive specialized treatment his condition requires. In addition, he reportedly does not have documentation to enable him claim government assistance.

The good samaritans are confident that Sutat is ready for the surgery, and they have expressed their appreciation for the financial support and well wishes for Sutat.

Through their efforts, Sutat is now at a major hospital in Bangkok awaiting the life-changing surgery.
