A Kenyan senator took to his Twitter page to post his picture and share a tweet about him checking into a hotel while waiting for a meeting. The response he got was obviously not what he expected to get.
The kinds of comebacks people have giving out in the past couple of weeks are funny; they would make you laugh till your crack your ribs if you are not in any way the subject of the matter. Youths now see the social media as the perfect avenue to air their thoughts and opinions about sensitive issues in the society.
Serious subjects could be discussed without the tension that accompanies them on a normal day.We aware of the things people do in the society. Politicians are often involved in some sort of relationship or the other with university students they are older than.
To start with, these people have a lot of money to spend while the university students on the other hand are always looking for free cash to help them live comfortable or extravagant lives.
While the kind of relationship that exists between them could be said to be symbiotic, the society shares a different opinion about this as they fear that the future of the students would be affected at the long run.
What does this matter after all? Youths are recalcitrant and would delve towards people who indulge them. The same way people do not trust a friendship that exists between a lecturer and his students, they also have doubts about senators (politicians) and university students.
