Two friends were shocked to discover a condom in their meal as they had dinner at a restaurant.
The hot-pot style meal which sees diners serve themselves from a large serving dish in the middle can be seen in the mobile phone footage.
But as they were half way through the meal, they claim to have pulled out a “secret ingredient” that led the woman to recoil in horror.
As the footage shows a condom is being held up above the pot with a set of black chopsticks.
In the clip, filed in the Hubei area in central China, the woman is stunned into silence and the man starts sweating.He then shows a waitress and tells her to “go call your boss”.
The waitress then hurries away before the video ends.
