Ashley Glawe at first thought the situation was funny and tried to gently remove the snake. However, it quickly became clear it was too large for the hole and couldn't slither itself out. She also had to be mindful of her pet's safety.
In the end, she had to check herself in to a hospital for emergency help. Fortunately, doctors applied local anesthesia on her ear and pulled her ear lobe wider to safely free the snake.
Ashley didn't let the situation go without taking pictures and posting them on her Facebook page. They have since gone viral and have been the source of much amusement for many.
She said the incident happened so fast and referred to it as one of the craziest in her life.
