Jealous Lagos trader 'cuts' boyfriend’s throat while sleeping (photos)

A lady has allegedly killed her 38-year-old lover, Kingsley Pereowei, in Abukuru, Ajegunle, Lagos, after she found out he was dating another lady in the neighborhood.

The drink seller, who was later identified as Mary, was reported to have cut his throat while sleeping in the early hours of Friday, January 27, leaving him in his pool of blood and went into hiding.


The Punch Newspaper revealed that, Kingsley was said to have screamed for help and died before residents could rescue him. According to neighbors, Mary recently accused the victim of dating another woman in the neighborhood.

The beer parlor, where Mary sold drinks and also lived with her lover, was under lock and key when they visited the community.


However, Kingsley’s elder sister, Linda Pereowei, who resides on Orodu Lane, Ajegunle, was said to have gone to a morgue, where her brother’s corpse was deposited.
