Two private school teachers, Stanley Akanno and Olakunle Hassan, have been arrested for serially defiling a 6-year-old student after showing her pornography during extra mural classes.
The teachers were arrested and paraded by the Assistant Inspector-General of police, zone 2, Kayode Aderanti, on Thursday, January 19.
Aderanti confirmed that the teachers serially committed the heinous act during extra mural classes. He said they would show the girl pornography on their laptop and afterwards they made her practice what she watched on them.
He added that the little girl was taken to the hospital to be tested and it was confirmed that she had been deflowered. He said: “The pupil has been taken to a government hospital where it was medically established that she had been deflowered. The suspects will soon be charged to court.”
They were arrested following suspicion by the 6-year-old's mother that her daughter has suddenly become sexually active. The girl’s mother, while narrating how the daughter was defiled, said: “I noticed that my daughter was kissing his brother’s penis."
She said her daughter told her the truth after she questioned her about her behaviour. She said: I called her and interrogated her where she learnt the behaviour and she told me that her lesson teacher plays erotic films on his laptop and forced her to watch it. She added that the teacher will then defile her. We reported the case to the police and from the investigation, it showed that she was defiled."
