YOU CANNOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THEIR RELIGION...!Obama attacks Trump over ban on Muslims.

Former president of the United States (US), Barack Obama, on Monday, January 30 kicked against President Donald Trump’s ban on 7 Muslim-majority countries.

Trump had on Friday banned seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States for the next 90 days and suspended the admission of all refugees.

Several Muslim travelers have been sent back from American airports by the US immigrations and a lot of American immigrant have started complaining about their loved ones locked out of the country due to President Trump’s order.

Obama’s statement reads: "President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country. In his final official speech as president, he spoke about the important role of citizen and how all Americans have a responsibility to be the guardians of our democracy -- not just during an election but every day.

"Citizens exercising their constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.

With regard to comparisons to President Obama's foreign policy decisions, as we've heard before, the President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion.''

Meanwhile, Trump fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates Monday night for "refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States," the White House said.

"(Yates) has betrayed the Department of Justice," the White House statement said.

Dana Boente, US attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, the White House said, and was sworn in at 9 p.m. ET, per an administration official. A few hours later, Boente issued a statement rescinding Yates' order, instructing DOJ lawyers to "defend the lawful orders of our President."
